‘Old Scarlett’ is the fourth album by Jacobites and was originally released in 1995. The band were formed in 1982 by Nikki Sudden and Dave Kusworth when their previous bands, Swell Maps and Subterranean Hawks broke up. The music takes its influence from The Rolling Stones mid-1970s period with ‘Angie’-style heartfelt ballads. Although the album kicks off with punk-tinged, swaggering rocker ‘Over and Over’.
